The Private Firm Social Analysis Agency "Socium-XXI"
The Private Firm Social Analysis Agency "Socium-XXI" established on June 1997 (non-formal student-tutor society NGO "Socium" existed in the Volyn State University since 1996). Specialists - sociologists, economists, political scientists, and psychologists - made the dozens of sociologic and marketing investigations.
Sociologic and marketing problematic:
- Social-economic and public problems of the city;
- Rating of definite spheres activity and concrete institutions, organizations and enterprises;
- Research of demand and supply for the definite goods and services;
- Estimate of the local mass media ratings;
- Political ratings and pre-electoral tends.
Besides the investigations, the specialists of the Social Analysis Agency "Socium-XXI" worked on the following spheres:
- analysis of the local mass media information (content-analysis, monitoring, radio and TV news review, study of advertisement services market);
- elaboration of advertisement production, advertisement-consulting activity (press, radio, local TV, booklets and other published production, including own original models);
- work in the regional inform agency's regime (local news on the radio and newspapers' rubrics);
- presentation activity (press conferences on the activity results, own publications and reports in mass media, round-table-talks);
- cooperation with the Volyn Regional Association of Small-Scale and Medium-Scale Businesses Rights Protection "Business-Lutsk" (inquest of small-scale and medium-scale businessmen to rise effectiveness of the Hot Line); cooperation with the program "Regulatory Reform in Ukraine" (inquest of small-scale and medium-scale businessmen to study regulatory problems in the spheres of outward advertisement and public property rent); cooperation with the "Media-bulletin" (Irex ProMedia) - the local mass media ratings, analytical articles on the own research materials; cooperation with "The Institution of Reforms" (study of investing priority of the region); cooperation with the Center "Sociopolice" (Kyiv - Dnipropetrovsk) - conducting the sociological investigations on the Volyn and Rivne regions territory; cooperation with the program PADKO (the sociological investigation of Lutsk population opinion about public problems, organization of focus-groups with representatives of business midst and public services).
The chairman of the Agency is Myroslava P.Karpinska, a specialist in political sciences, an author of more than hundred analytical, publicist and image materials in the local mass media.
